At Ellie Stitches, I specialise in visible mending; Using embroidery, machine darning and patching to repair your clothes. Repairs and mends should be worn as a badge of honour, as an acknowledgement that you love the clothing you wear enough to invest in its longevity.

Using my sewing machine, I’ll reinforce any weak points in your garment with a matching or contrast thread - your choice!

We’ll work together to decide on an embroidery design which covers a stain, compliments your garment and adds to its personality

I’ll use this traditional Japanese technique to reinforce your garments weak point and add a detailed embroidered element

Patches are a great way to add more personality to your clothes. I can use machine or hand stitching to finish a funky patch on your garment. We’ll work together to pick a fabric and finish that suits your style

Collars and cuffs are often where your favourite jackets and shirts show the most sign of wear, so give them a new lease of life by replacing them. We can work together to choose a fabric that matches (or contrasts!)

Repairs are done on a three to four week turn around, dependent on the size of the repair and material sourcing needed to complete it.
Need it in a rush? We can discuss a quicker turn around but this will incur an extra charge.

I’ll get in touch with a quote and let you know the best options to mend your garment. This is where we’ll go through any design ideas and sign off the mend!

Pay your deposit & post your garment to me!
4.
Let me work my repair magic & then I’ll send your newly mended garment back to you!
