The process varies between services and each individual project is unique but, on the whole, it will fit into this three step process -

1. Fill in the contact form with all the details about your garment or textiles item

2. I’ll get in touch with a quote and all the info you’ll need on how I’ll work on your piece

3. Post your piece to me and relax whilst I work my stitching magic on your unique piece

Once you have filled in the relevant enquiry form I will be in touch with an outline of the project & a quote. If you are happy with this, all you need to do is pay a deposit to book in.

The short answer is no..! Ellie Stitches specialises in repairing and reimagining pieces in your wardrobe so we don’t accept traditional alterations. I can recommend an alterations seamstress - Laura at @doesntyourmatesew is my go-to.

Each project, whether it is a Repair, Reimagine or Create, is priced individually due to the varying nature of the work and skill involved. You can find some pricing guidelines on our service page.

I’m based in the Ellie Stitches studio in Leyland, Lancashire.

If you’re local and want to come in for a fitting - that’s absolutely doable! The studio is appointment only so please arrange with me beforehand.

I can also do video calls if you are further afield and want support with fitting and measurement.

Please note; fittings are charged at £5.00 and will be added to your final invoice.
