These Terms & Conditions outline the agreement between you (the customer) and me (the service provider) when you use my website or commission any stitching, mending or upcycling work.

services provided:

I offer a range of textile services, including but not limited to:

  • Visible mending

  • Repairs

  • Upcycling and reimagining garments

  • Custom sewing projects

Each project is unique. I will always discuss your requirements, provide guidance, and confirm details before work begins.

customer responsibilities:

To ensure the best results, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about the garment and its condition

  • Confirm measurements and submit photos where required

  • Ensure items are clean before sending or dropping them off

  • Communicate any deadlines clearly at the time of booking

I reserve the right to decline work if a garment is unsuitable for repair or transformation.

pricing & payment:

Prices vary depending on the complexity of the work. You will receive a quote before I begin.

  • Deposits are required for all projects

  • Payment is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed

  • Payments are processed securely through trusted third‑party providers

I do not store your card details.

turnaround times:

Turnaround times depend on workload and project complexity. I will give you an estimated completion date, but this is not guaranteed.

If you have a specific deadline (e.g., a wedding or event), please mention it during your initial enquiry.

shipping & delivery:

If you are posting items to me:

  • You are responsible for shipping costs

  • You must package items securely

  • I am not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit

Return shipping will be arranged once the project is complete.

cancellations & refunds:

Because my work is bespoke and often labour‑intensive:

  • Cancellations are only accepted before work begins

  • Deposits (if taken) may be non‑refundable

  • Refunds are not available once work has started or been completed

If you are unhappy with the result, please contact me within 7 days so I can try to resolve the issue.

limitations of work:

Textile repair and upcycling involve working with pre‑loved, sometimes fragile materials. While I take great care:

  • I cannot guarantee that repairs will restore items to “as new” condition

  • Some fabrics may react unpredictably

  • Upcycled pieces may differ from the original concept due to fabric limitations

I will always discuss any concerns before proceeding.
